MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A man who made the U.S. Marshals Service's most-wanted list after being charged with killing his parents and setting their house on fire has agreed to be extradited from Florida to New Hampshire.
Thirty-nine-year-old Matthew Dion was captured Wednesday at a hotel in Orange Park, Florida. He had been sought since March 2014, when the bodies of his parents were found at their home in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The fire was determined to be arson. The deaths of 71-year-old Robert Dion and 67-year-old Constance Dion were ruled homicides.
WMUR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1Igpbnv) that Matthew Dion appeared in court Thursday and waived extradition.
Dion was charged with two counts of second-degree murder and arson in September. He also is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.
