BOSTON (AP) — More information is emerging about a man killed in a confrontation with an anti-terror task force in Boston. The FBI says Usaama Rahim was killed after refusing to drop the weapon. He's also said to have been under surveillance and was confronted because he had talked about attacking "boys in blue." There's been a second arrest in the case. Authorities also showed a video tape of to religious and community leaders.

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee is running for president. He announced his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination today in Virginia. He's a former Republican who became an independent and then joined the Democratic Party two years ago. Beside Hillary Rodham Clinton -- Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley are also seeking the nomination.

UNDATED (AP) — A review by an international panel of experts of the most recent evidence on mammograms shows that the screenings do the most good for women in their 50s and 60s. Evidence of a benefit for women in their 40's is limited. The findings are similar to the conclusion of a task force appointed by the federal government. The new report is published online by the New England Journal of Medicine.

TOBYHANNA, Pa.(AP) — Three people are dead and four others in critical condition following a crash between a charter bus and a tractor trailer in eastern Pennsylvania. The bus was taking Italian tourists to Niagara Falls. The accident happened on Interstate 380.

NEW YORK (AP) — Taco Bell will add beer, wine and "mixed alcohol freezes" to the menu of a location set to open this summer in Chicago. The layout, already launched overseas, will include stools at a bar that looks into an open kitchen. It's an attempt by Yum Brands, the chain's owner, to draw more millennials.
