SANDY, Utah (AP) — Police have identified two teenagers who died in a collision after their vehicle pulled out in front of a Jeep Wrangler in Sandy.

Sandy Police Sgt. Dean Carriger says 17-year-old Hunter Kelson and 16-year-old Cheyenne Bagley were in a Plymouth Neon when they were making a left turn and got T-boned by the Jeep Wednesday.

Both teens died at the scene.

Carriger says a 15-year-old girl in the Neon has been transported to Alta View Hospital with minor injuries.

Police initially believed the surviving teen was an older male.

Two riders inside the Jeep, which rolled onto its side, were uninjured.

Carriger says all teens in the Neon were wearing seatbelts.
