LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas county officials are looking for someone who keeps painting a fake crosswalk in an affluent neighborhood of Las Vegas.

KTNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1EyWflT ) that a new crosswalk appeared just feet from a real one in Summerlin near Goolsby Elementary School.

This is the fifth time the crosswalk has appeared. The county removed the painted crosswalk four other times, most recently in October.

County officials say the crosswalk, located on Desert Inn road west of Clark County Route 2015, is a hazard because drivers do not know it's there and do not expect pedestrians. They say they want whoever is painting to crosswalk to stop.
