SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Opponents of same-sex marriage plan to rally at Utah's state Capitol tonight. They're inviting rally attendees to show up wearing pink and blue to support laws defining marriage as the union of a man and a woman. The U.S. Supreme Court hears cases today that could overturn remaining state bans on gay marriage.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — State lawmakers concerned about recent civilian deaths at the hands of police around the country are reviewing how Utah officers use deadly force and whether changes are needed. A committee held the first in a series of study sessions yesterday on body cameras, officer training and investigations into police use of weapons or physical force.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Salt Lake City police and the FBI are looking for an agent's sniper rifle that was stolen from his car in a hotel parking lot. Police say the rifle was stolen from the hotel near the airport on the night of March 27. Police say the thieves used a rope and another car to yank out a secure vault where the rifle was stored.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Security at the Salt Lake City airport is getting a second look after a man crashed through two fences with a car and ran onto a runway. Police say 39-year-old Leo Greene was taken to jail after being treated early yesterday for minor injuries. Police say he fled onto the airport after a traffic stop around 3 a.m.
