SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) — Two earthquakes — a magnitude 4.1 and a 4.2 — have jolted north Idaho, with residents feeling them from northeastern Washington to northwestern Montana. No injuries or serious damage were reported from the quakes that were centered northeast of Hayden last night. A Bonner County dispatcher in Sandpoint says the U.S. Forest Service reported it was sending a crew to check out a report of trees down in the Lakeview area.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — An elderly woman is dead after a fire at her home in Boise last night. KBOI-TV reports a neighbor was able to pull the woman out of the house, but she was already in full cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Three people who were injured when a drunken driver crashed his truck into a Couer d'Alene home have sued the bar where the man drank before the accident. The Coeur d'Alene Press reports that the lawsuit contends that The Corner Bar and the bar's owners are responsible for over-serving the man who crashed into the home in 2013. Thomas Heinbaugh was convicted of drunken driving and sentenced to more than 8 years in prison.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Springtime in southwestern Idaho means flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and ducklings are falling into storm drains. Boise firefighters used a net Tuesday to scoop a pair of wayward ducklings out of a drain. A homeowner saw the ducklings and asked the Fire Department to help.
