COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Northern Idaho authorities say a Post Falls man has been taken into custody following the shooting of another man outside a residence.
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office arrested 49-year-old Michael E. Couture in Post Fall on Monday on an unrelated warrant.
Police say that Couture on Sunday got into a fight at a bar with 40-year-old Jeremy D. Stutheit.
Police say that a short time later Stutheit was shot outside a residence near the bar.
After the shooting, Stutheit was taken to the Kootenai Health and Medical Center. He was listed in good condition on Tuesday.
