BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in southwest Idaho say four adults and four juveniles have been taken into custody after police responded to a report of a car fire.

The Boise Police Department says a fight was in progress when officers arrived at a home at about 4:20 a.m. Monday and two officers were struck.

Five of those taken into custody, including two of the juveniles, were arrested on suspicion of felony battery on a law enforcement officer.

Adults facing that potential charge are 40-year-old Valeria Madrid, 18-year-old Denyse Madrid and 19-year-old Amelia Torres. Nineteen-year-old Adalina Torres was arrested on suspicion of resisting and obstructing officers.

The juveniles arrested range in age from 16 to 17.

Police say the officers weren't seriously injured.

A man inside the house was treated for a minor injury.
