SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say five people were injured when a car and tour bus collided in Southern California, but only one of them was seriously hurt.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department says the collision happened at about 7 p.m. Sunday on a street in Bloomington, near Fontana.
Four people had minor injuries and one had injuries described as moderate-to-major.
The fire department initially said nine were injured when crews first arrived, but later reduced the injury toll after closer assessment.
Fire officials said some patients had to be cut from the wreckage. It wasn't clear how many injured were from the bus and how many from the car.
There were no further details immediately available.
