ISLE OF WIGHT, Va. (AP) — Police acting on tip are searching an area in Isle of Wight County for a missing Longwood University student.
Norfolk police spokesman Daniel Hudson tells media outlets that the search for 18-year-old Anjelica Hadsell of Norfolk is concentrated on an area at U.S. 258 and Joyner's Bridge Road in Isle of Wight.
The area includes a retention pond.
Hudson says police haven't ruled out any possibilities.
He says police didn't receive the tip through the department's Crime Line. He didn't have any other details.
Hadsell has been missing since March 3. She was last seen at her parents' home in Norfolk.
