COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An HIV-positive man suspected of raping three children has been indicted by an Ohio grand jury.

The Franklin County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday that a grand jury returned a 19-count indictment for 27-year-old Keith Anthony Allen, of Columbus. It accuses him of raping two 12-year-old girls and a 14-year-old girl since Sept. 1. The charges include rape and gross sexual imposition.

Another felonious assault charge alleges he had sex with a woman even though he knew he had HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

Court records say he was arrested March 25. A message seeking comment was left Thursday with the public defender's office.

Allen will be arraigned Monday. Prosecutors say he could face a possible life sentence if he is convicted of raping a child under 13.
