LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry had been planning to attend the dedication of the Kennedy Institute in Boston today and tomorrow but the Iran nuclear talks are keeping him in Switzerland. Negotiators are trying to come up with the outline of a deal by Tuesday's deadline. The State Department says "serious but difficult work" remains.

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — Saudi Arabia says its airstrikes are taking their toll on Shiite rebels in Yemen. Military officials say the Saudi-led coalition has pushed rebels out of contested air bases and destroyed any jet fighters remaining in the Arab world's poorest country. Meanwhile, Pakistan is sending a plane to evacuate about 500 of its citizens gathered in a Yemeni city.

SINGAPORE (AP) — An elaborate procession Sunday and a three-hour state funeral for longtime leader Lee Kuan Yew drew tens of thousands of people despite heavy rain. His son, the current prime minister, eulogized the statesman and declared that the wealthy Southeast Asian city state Lee helped build is his monument. Leaders and dignitaries from more than two dozen countries, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (AP) — Stormy conditions apparently contributed to a mishap at Halifax airport that sent 25 Air Canada passengers to hospitals. Officials say the injuries were minor. Officials say an airliner made an "abrupt" landing and skidded off a runway.

RED LODGE, Mont. (AP) — An unseasonable Montana wildfire has grown to 700 acres but officials lifted an evacuation order for a nearby ski lodge. The blaze is a few miles west of the community of Red Lodge. U.S. Forest Service spokesman Jeff Gildehaus says earlier winds subsided somewhat and the trend is expected to continue.
