PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police say a 50-year-old woman was killed and a 74-year-old woman critically injured when they were stabbed in the face and body during a home invasion in Philadelphia.

The 50-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene around 6:30 a.m. Friday in the city's Bridesburg section.

The 74-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition. An 18-year-old man at the scene had cuts on his hand and was also hospitalized.
