ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — "Good Morning America" anchor Amy Robach is set to give a commencement speech to University of Georgia undergraduates.
The university says Robach will speak at the May 8 undergraduate commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. in Sanford Stadium.
Robach graduated from UGA's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication in 1995 and has been an anchor on "Good Morning America" for about a year. She joined ABC as a news correspondent based in New York after working for NBC News for about a decade.
The graduate ceremony, set for 10 a.m. in Stegeman Coliseum, will feature an address by university Professor Emeritus Gary Bertsch, who's now chairman of the international advisory group TradeSecure LLC. Bertsch retired from UGA in 2010 as director of the Center for International Trade and Security.
