CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — A library worker at a Casper high school has been charged with child abuse.

Roberta Helen Shane also has been charged with child neglect. Shane's husband, Joseph, faces charges of endangering a child and being an accessory to child abuse.

Court documents show the 10-year-old daughter was malnourished when she was placed in foster care last April and told police she had been repeatedly locked in the family's garage and forced her to sleep on a cot in the laundry room.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1CePHgQ ) that Roberta Shane's attorney declined to comment on the case and that Joseph Shane's attorney could not be immediately reached for comment.

Roberta Shane is a high school library media technician.
