DETROIT (AP) — AAA Michigan is funding 75 driver's education scholarships for Detroit Public Schools students.
The effort announced Thursday aims to help students who need financial assistance to pay for their training. The Dearborn-based auto club says scholarships are being offered to students on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of an application.
Scholarship recommendations also may be made by principals and teachers. Information about scholarships is posted on the district's website.
