SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Utah woman accused of killing six of her newborn babies and storing their bodies in her garage appears set to take a plea deal. Court records show prosecutors and attorneys for 39-year-old Megan Huntsman have reached a resolution, and requested a special setting for a hearing tomorrow in Provo.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Federal wildlife officials say DNA tests confirm a wolf accidently shot by a hunter in Utah was the same one seen in the Grand Canyon area last year. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says the 3-year-old female killed in late December was the first wolf seen in northern Arizona in more than 70 years.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban tattoo shops from inking young people in most circumstances. State House Rep. LaVar Christensen said in a committee hearing this week that he drafted a plan to add restrictions after seeing little children with tattoos in a stroller. Under current law, people younger than 18 can be tattooed with consent from a parent or guardian.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A northern Utah police officer wounded in a 2012 drug raid has been honored with a Medal by Valor. The Office of the Vice President Joe Biden says Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Nathan Daniel Hutchinson was recognized today for helping fellow officers to safety on Jan. 4, 2012.
