MILLERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Officials say a student was found dead in a dormitory room at a central Pennsylvania university over the weekend.
Millersville University spokeswoman Janet Kacskos said the student was pronounced dead early Sunday by the Lancaster County coroner's office.
She said the student's parents and siblings have been notified, but relatives asked that the name not be released until they could inform extended family.
The cause of death is under investigation. An autopsy is scheduled Monday.
Officials said university counseling staff will be available on campus to talk to students who need assistance.
