BUNKER HILL, Ind. (AP) — A Miami County teacher accused of having sexual relationships with two 17-year-old students is facing five felony charges.
Michelle Ladd is charged with two counts of child seduction, as well as illegal transfer of handguns and furnishing alcohol to a minor. The 41-year-old woman is accused of having sex with two of her male students on separate occasions and spending thousands of dollars on them.
According to a criminal complaint, Ladd bought alcohol and two cars for the 17-year-old whom she began a sexual relationship with in 2010. The complaint claims she also bought alcohol and guns for the other 17-year-old, who has a criminal past.
Ladd worked with middle and high school students attending alternative schools within the Maconaquah School Corporation.
It wasn't immediately clear if she has an attorney yet.
