RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Saudi Arabia's official news agency says King Salman has reshuffled the cabinet after assuming the throne last week.
The Saudi Press Agency said the monarch issued 30 royal degrees, one outlining the new makeup of the cabinet. The key posts of oil and foreign minister remained unchanged.
He also replaced the head of intelligence and sacked the prince of Mecca. The king eliminated a dozen councils and specialized committees while creating two main bodies for security and economy affairs.
