BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A 22-year-old Boise man authorities say provided the handgun used in a contract killing that left two other Boise men dead has pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
The Idaho Statesman reports (http://bit.ly/1DgFmha) in a story on Tuesday that authorities say Anton Philip Raider provided the gun in exchange for removing $600 in drug debt.
Police say 44-year-old John C. Douglas shot and killed 28-year-old Elliott Bailey and 27-year-old Travontae Calloway at an apartment in Boise on May 8. Calloway's girlfriend was wounded.
Raider in a plea deal in state court previously pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting attempted murder.
Prosecutors say the killings stemmed from the theft of $100,000 of marijuana.
Douglas is charged with first-degree murder.
