SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Authorities are investigating what caused a fire that drove 20 people from an apartment complex in Ogden Monday night.

Firefighters say the blaze started about 10:45 p.m. in the attic of the three-story building near Weber State University.

Ogden Fire Chief Mike Mathieu says no one was hurt in the fire. Residents will stay with friends or family while the building is being repaired, which could take up to a month.

Mathieu says the fire caused about $100,000 worth of damage.
