IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Leaders in the southeast Idaho city of Idaho Falls have approved a plan to put in dozens of signs to make it easier for motorists to find their destination and a parking spot.
The Post Register reports (http://www.postregister.com/node/72361) in a story on Saturday that the Idaho Falls City Council approved the comprehensive sign and way-finding project that was more than two years in the making.
Officials say the strategically placed signs will help guide travelers from major highways to various Idaho Falls public facilities such as the museum and library.
The signs will be blue and come in various shapes and sizes.
Councilman Tom Hally says it's part of a plan to rebrand the city.
