Idaho was the president's first stop in his post-State of the Union tour. Obama also met with Naghmeh Abedini, the wife of Boise pastor Saeed Abedini who has been imprisoned in Iran since 2012.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho lawmakers have introduced a bill that would formally expand the secrecy surrounding executions. The Senate Judiciary and Rules committee is considering a bill that would incorporate existing department policy on confidential execution records into state law, and broaden that language to include records involving the source of lethal medications used for executions.
