JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming has one of the highest suicide rates in the nation.
In an effort to address that, the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming is trying to make a difference with two suicide prevention videos featuring a group of young Jackson actors.
Posted to DioWy.org, the videos chronicle suicide tragedies and expound on the skewed reasoning that can lead youths to suicide.
The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports (http://bit.ly/1sErm03) that one of the educational films is a remake of another scripted by the Mayo Clinic. It shows six youths pleading with the viewer to take it seriously when someone mentions the possibility of hurting himself.
