PARIS (AP) — Police SWAT teams backed by helicopters are homing in on a region north of Paris as they track two heavily armed brothers with al-Qaida sympathies suspected in the newsroom massacre at a satirical French weekly. Officials fear they could strike again. More than 88,000 security forces are on the streets of France, as the nation mourns the 12 people who died Wednesday.
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — This is the fourth anniversary of the mass shooting in Tucson that left six dead and 13 injured, including former Arizona Rep. Gabby Giffords. The city paused to remember the tragedy. Nineteen solemn bells rang this morning to honor the victims. Giffords didn't attend the event but spent part of the day meeting with President Barack Obama during his visit to Phoenix.
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama will put forth a plan that would make community college "free for everybody who is willing to work for it." That's according to the White House. Obama plans to formally make the announcement tomorrow at a community college in Tennessee. But there are no details about the program's costs or where the money would come from to pay for it.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A man who spent 2½ years in prison after a 2006 crash in his Toyota Camry that killed three people in Minnesota says he's still haunted by the accident. Koua (KOO'-uh) Fong Lee, who was freed after publicity over sudden acceleration in some Toyota cars, took the stand today in a lawsuit against Toyota. Lee maintains he pumped his brakes but the car wouldn't stop.
NEW YORK (AP) — A long-awaited report on the Ray Rice case is out. The 96-page report from former FBI director Robert Mueller says the NFL initially botched the case and had a weak domestic abuse policy. But it says investigators found no evidence that league officials saw video of the former Ravens running back hitting his fiancee in a casino elevator before it was released.
