SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — State officials say they've recovered a Utah State Parks and Recreation pickup truck that was stolen a week earlier from a locked storage area at Willard Bay State Park in Box Elder County.
Utah State Parks Lt. Eric Stucki (STOO'-kee) says the truck was recovered Monday night after someone reported seeing it in an empty Weber County parking lot.
Stucki says they also found the 12-gauge shotgun and an AR-15 assault rifle that were locked in the truck.
He says there was minimal damage to the outside of the truck.
Stucki says authorities are still searching for the thief.
