BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in southwestern Idaho say they're working with the U.S. Marshall's Service to nab an escaped inmate thought to be in Mexico based on Facebook postings.
Payette Police Chief Mark Clark tells KBOI-TV (http://bit.ly/1K1JlD3 ) in a story on Wednesday that the postings will lead to Nick Grove being captured and returned to Idaho.
Grove in August escaped from the Payette County Jail by climbing over a fence topped with razor wire and dashing away.
Grove had been jailed for several weeks and faced charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, possession of burglary tools and an invalid license.
Police say they have been monitoring Grove's Facebook posts that include selfies and various shots around Cancun, Mexico.
