LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say an 85-year-old woman who was in a crash in Las Vegas over the summer died of her injuries months later in Minnesota.

Las Vegas authorities say they were notified in November that Murlen Baden had died in the Minneapolis area. The coroner there told police in Nevada this week that complications from the car accident were to blame.

Baden was a passenger in a Cadillac on July 24 when the 85-year-old driver suffered a medical episode and veered into two pine trees on the side of the road.

Baden and the driver were taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with injuries that didn't appear to be life-threatening at the time.
