BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in southwest Idaho are searching for a dark-colored pickup police say is involved in a fatal hit-and-run.
Police say the pickup on Sunday morning struck and killed 66-year-old John Perkins of Boise as he crossed a street at a Boise intersection.
The Ada County Coroner's Office in a news release Monday listed the cause of death as blunt force trauma.
Witnesses describe the pickup as dark, lifted so it rides higher from the ground, and with a long bed. It also has off-road lights on its top and a loud exhaust.
