HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Nearly 1,100 students can now call themselves Marshall University alumni.
Graduation ceremonies were held Sunday in downtown Huntington during Marshall's winter commencement.
In order to accommodate students and their families, Marshall moved this year's ceremony from the Cam Henderson Center to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
The students included nearly 700 undergraduates and about 380 with graduate degrees.
Marshall began conducting a winter graduation ceremony in 2008.
