This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.
Life certainly isn't boring. One day is never like the next, and in fact, you never know what's just over the horizon. At Sage Law Partners in Farmington, they take a proactive approach to being prepared for anything life may send your way. The five Sage partners are interested in creating a document that can legally speak for you if you're not able to speak for yourself. This includes loving trusts, wills and powers of attorney that also help avoid court guardianship and probate.
One of the programs unique to Sage Law Partners is their Every Angel Needs a Guardian program. Sage Law Partners will help create single-purpose wills that document who the primary guardian is if something were to happen to a child's parents. It also lists alternate and temporary guardians and includes personal instructions from parents.
At Sage Law Partners, their firm is half litigation and half transaction, but Rock Allen, one of the founders, says his focus is on the trust and estates division of the firm. In this line of work, it's important to convey what you want done in the event you're unable to say it yourself. Sage also helps structure property so a trust can control it, especially if it needs to be included as part of the trust.
Sage Law Partners wants to make it as easy as possible for people to get good legal advice from somewhere other than the Internet. One of the key ideas for the firm is to lower overhead so they can offer competitive rates for their clients, knowing how expensive legal counsel can be.
For Rock Allen, this work has a personal meaning. He has witnessed the benefit of having his affairs in order. That's why he wants to be sure his clients have a way to document their requests. Sage Law Partners office is in Station Park in Farmington.
As a community-focused organization, Zions Bank has been providing value to the communities in which we live and serve for over 140 years. Member FDIC.
