WINOOSKI, Vt. (AP) — Veterans are expected to discuss their time in combat at an event at Community College of Vermont in Winooski.
The event takes place Monday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. in room 108.
CCV staff, faculty and students also will take part in their annual Yellow Ribbon project — writing notes of thanks or remembrances on yellow ribbons to veterans in their communities.
The ribbons will be hung in the CCV Winooski center and presented to VFW posts and other groups at the end of the week.
Veterans Day is Tuesday, Nov. 11.
