LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 29-year-old Las Vegas man has been convicted in the deaths of two men found shot in an apartment after an apparent drug deal and robbery five years ago. Ralph "Macky" Jeremias was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder as well as robbery and burglary charges. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Jeremias wept before the verdict was read and told the court that he didn't kill anyone.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A judge was hit by a car while walking to work at the Clark County Regional Justice Center this morning Court spokeswoman Mary Ann Price says Judge Linda Bell was struck in a crosswalk on Clark Street. Bell was taken to the hospital, but further details about her condition were not immediately released.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run in Las Vegas yesterday. Clark County coroner's officials say 57-year-old Marlon Collins was hit at about 4:30 a.m. while walking in a crosswalk at Sahara and Eastern avenues. Police are looking for a late model Nissan Sentra that fled the scene.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Discount airliner Spirit Airlines says it will begin flying nonstop between Las Vegas and a small regional airport about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The new route will fly into Arnold Palmer Regional Airport just outside Latrobe, Pennsylvania starting April 16.
