CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire Fish and Game Department officials are holding a public hearing on a new break being given to nonresident students on hunting and fishing licenses in the state.
The session — set for noon on Thursday at the department's headquarters in Concord — will focus on a change that went into effect in August. Under it, students from out-of-state can get a New Hampshire fishing or hunting license for the in-state price.
High school, college and graduate students are eligible. To get the reduced rate, they must show a valid, current school ID and be registered for at least 12 credit hours per semester.
