FORT KENT, Maine (AP) — A nurse who treated Ebola patients in West Africa says she plans to end her voluntary quarantine. Kaci Hickox says she's "not going to sit around and be bullied by politicians" when she's not a risk to the public. State officials in Maine are seeking a court order allowing state troopers to detain her even though she has no symptoms of the virus.

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — Australia's attorney-general says a new law that carries a prison term for anyone who reveals information about certain secret security operations is aimed at Edward Snowden-like leakers rather than investigative reporters. He says he's adding a safeguard for journalists who might fall afoul of the new counterterrorism law.

MATAMOROS, Mexico (AP) — A Mexican official says four bodies were found east of the border city of Matamaros. It's near where three young Americans disappeared with a fourth person on Oct. 13. Police are trying to determine if the bodies found today include three siblings from Texas, who witnesses say were abducted by armed men. The three were visiting their father in Mexico.

DETROIT (AP) — Chrysler is recalling more than 566,000 SUVs and trucks because malfunctioning fuel heaters can cause fires. There is also a software glitch that can disable the electronic stability control. One recall covers Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups and Ram 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs from 2010 through 2014. The other recall involves Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from 2014.

PAHOA, Hawaii (AP) — A red-hot river of lava is threatening to consume its first home on its slow advance into a rural Hawaii Big Island town. A breakout of the lava flow is about 100 feet from a Pahoa residence. The couple that lives in the home has left. Scientists say the leading edge is about 240 yards from a road that goes through a commercial hub of the sprawling and isolated Puna district.
