There are millions of apps and tech services out there. All designed, in theory, to make your life easier. And we're here to help you understand some of the better services out there.

Our tech expert, Alex Lawrence, from Weber State is talking to us about several of these:

-Readly: $9.99/month for access to hundreds of magazines (like Netflix for magazines)

-Swytch: turns your cell phone into a virtual switch-board, calling/receiving from variety of phone numbers

-MailMe (mailme.mntmn.com): cool plugin for your browser that lets you single click and link to that website is sent to your email

-A Song A Day (asongaday.co): Put in your preferences, new song that matches it in your email box every day.

-Hive.im: unlimited free cloud storage

-Greentoe: Make an offer on a product, connects you via a network of authorized retailers who will accept your price

-Plated.com: Meals from your favorite chefs — ingredients and recipe sent to you once a week to make the same meal at home.

-Estateassist.com: store all of your important information (will, financial, letters, life insurance, etc) and have it sent to designated people if anything happens.
