MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Time is running out for high schools to register to send teams to the 2014 Science Bowl next month at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
The university says competition Nov. 8 starts off with a written test. Topics covered include biology, chemistry and general science.
The afternoon bowl competition will feature eight teams chosen from the written test.
Trophies will be given to champion and runner-up schools, with medallions going to team members.

Registration is free, but the deadline is Monday.
