ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — In a story Oct. 9, The Associated Press reported on the growth of international students in Minnesota colleges and universities and some of those students' unfamiliarity with American academic standards such as plagiarism. The story cited an example of a copied paragraph in a paper by University of St. Thomas student Zizo Amro. The story should have noted that Amro, who said he wasn't aware the copying was wrong, was a freshman at the time. He's now a senior.
