FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — The University of Arkansas says strict security measures will be in place around Union Mall when former President Bill Clinton visits campus Tuesday.

The school says the mall area between the Arkansas Union and Mullins Library will be closed off from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until early afternoon. Only authorized individuals will be allowed in the area.

Clinton is visiting Fayetteville along with three other cities this week to rally support for state Democrats.

The school says University of Arkansas Police is working with the U.S. Secret Service to provide security for the event.

Classes will be held as scheduled throughout the day and normal bus service will run all day.
