IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — An eastern Idaho man who sexually abused a 2-year-old child has been sentenced to 25 years in Prison.

The Post Register reports (http://www.postregister.com/node/64548) that 30-year-old Leroy Simpson of Idaho Falls received the sentence Thursday and must serve eight years before being eligible for parole.

Simpson previously pleaded guilty to forcible sexual penetration by use of a foreign object.

Bonneville County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Danny Clark says the child is with a foster family that is going through the adoption process.
