GULF SHORES, Ala. (AP) — The University of South Alabama will soon offer courses in hospitality and tourism in Gulf Shores.
University officials will start holding the classes in January at the Gulf Shores Cultural Center.
Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/Zgvu9s ) students who earn an associate's degrees in hospitality management from Faulkner State and can then enroll at the University of South Alabama to earn their bachelor's degree.
University President Tony Waldrop and Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft said the partnership will provide opportunities for Baldwin County residents working in the area's tourism industry.
