BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Added crews helped keep the Bull Fire north of Boise to 75 acres as of yesterday afternoon. The Idaho Statesman reports the fire grew from 50 to 75 acres between Friday evening and Saturday. Seventy-five additional firefighters were called to assist the 40 working the fire on Friday. Four helicopters and two heavy air tankers are also being used.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Two search and rescue teams extricated a 36-year-old hiker whose leg was trapped by a boulder while she descended from Chimney Rock north of Coeur d'Alene. The Coeur d'Alene Press reports the woman became stuck Friday afternoon after a boulder shifted. Bonner County emergency officials received a call about 5:30 p.m. Friday, and it took about 20 rescuers until after midnight to reach her.

UNDATED (AP) __ Police say a man and woman have been found dead in a Meridian home. Police were dispatched after receiving a call of gunshots fired about 10:40 p.m. Saturday. Police discovered the bodies of a 24-year-old man and 32-year-old woman in the garage. Initial reports indicate they were married, and police believe the man shot the woman with a handgun before shooting himself.

UNDATED (AP) __ A 22-year-old man from American Falls died early Saturday in a one-vehicle crash west of Chubbuck. Idaho State Police say Skyler Whitnah was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt west on Interstate 86 about 1 a.m. when the car went off the road. He overcorrected, rolling the vehicle. He was ejected from the car. He was not wearing a seat beat.
