LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (AP) — Some 20 years ago Angela Fernandez lost a standard-sized King James Bible she'd received for her birthday.
It recently turned up during a construction project at Mosley High School near Panama City, leading Fernandez to believe that God is sending her a message to never give up.
She remembers taking the Bible to Fellowship of Christian Students meetings in the choir room at the school. That's where it was found in the rubble of construction this summer.
The News Herald of Panama City (http://bit.ly/1p6sXn4 ) placed it atop a trash pile, where a construction manager picked it up and took it to the school's office. It found its way to the school's resource officer, Tom Hedges, who is a family friend of the Fernandez family. He returned it to Fernandez.
