NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Bail is set at $150,000 for a Paterson school teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.
Authorities in Essex County have charged 28-year-old Adelardo Romero with nine counts of sexual assault, child endangerment and other charges.
Romero is a teacher at East Side High School in Paterson.
It's not known if he has a lawyer.
