NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — The southeast and central Bahamas are under a tropical storm warning today from a tropical depression that's expected to strengthen as it heads toward the islands.
The storm formed over the Turks and Caicos Islands and dumped heavy rains on parts of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
Hurricane forecasters say the fourth storm of the Atlantic hurricane season could bring up to 8 inches of rain.
Thousands of people in Puerto Rico lost electricity and some are also without water.
