CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson University is holding its summer graduation and more than 1,000 students are expected to receive their degrees during.
University officials say Friday's ceremony is one of Clemson's largest summer graduations.
During the ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum, Frank Hanckel of the class of 1955 will receive an honorary doctor of humanities degree.
The lifelong Charleston resident and former Army officer was the longtime president and CEO of Coburg Dairy and active in numerous civic organizations in the Charleston area.
