ATLANTA (AP) — Another American medical missionary stricken with the deadly Ebola virus in West Africa is expected to fly back to the U.S. on Tuesday. Nancy Writebol will join colleague Dr. Kent Brantly in the infectious disease unit at Atlanta's Emory University Hospital. Brantly's wife says her husband's condition is improving. Brantly entered the Atlanta hospital on Saturday.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israel says it's pulled most of its ground troops out of Gaza after destroying most of the militant tunnels it found beneath the border. Israel launched its military operation July 8 in response to weeks of heavy rocket fire from Gaza. It sent in ground forces July 17 to destroy the network of tunnels it says were used by Hamas to carry out attacks.

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City police say they've arrested the man who shot a video of a fatal police chokehold. A police spokesman says an unloaded weapon reported stolen in Michigan was recovered from Ramsey Orta when he was arrested Saturday on Staten Island. Orta shot the video of an officer using a chokehold to restrain Eric Garner on July 17. Garner's death was ruled a homicide.

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — More tests are necessary to ensure toxins are out of the water supply in Toledo, Ohio. Some 400,000 people are still being told not to drink tap water. City officials issued the warning early Saturday after tests revealed the presence of a toxin possibly from algae on Lake Erie. The state is trucking water and other supplies to the area.

CANNON BEACH, Oregon (AP) — The mother of a slain toddler and critically injured teenage girl who were found in a room at a coastal Oregon resort is now wanted on suspicion of murder. The Cannon Beach police chief tells The Oregonian newspaper that the autopsy on the 2-year-old determined her death was a homicide. Police are searching for Jessica Smith of Goldendale, Washington.
