BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — Bridgeport police say the assistant director of a drug treatment center drove one of his clients to a drug deal.
The Connecticut Post reports (http://bit.ly/1mf2Y01) that 30-year-old Emille Jones, an assistant director of Connecticut Renaissance, was charged Monday with conspiracy to possess narcotics.
He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
Police say Jones gave a 31-year-old woman money Monday and drove her to buy crack. Police were conducting a surveillance operation and arrested Jones at the scene on Thompson Street. The woman told police Jones had often taken her to buy drugs and would give her money in exchange for sex.
Jones did not immediately reply to an email seeking comment Wednesday, and a message at Connecticut Renaissance said his voice mailbox was full.
