COALVILLE, Utah (AP) — Authorities in Summit County have identified a body found in a ravine about a mile from an abandoned vehicle.
Deputies say they found the body of 23-year-old Provo resident Eduardo Rodriguez on Sunday morning. He had been reported missing from Provo on June 23.
Summit County Sheriff's Capt. Justin Martinez says a Forest Service employee was doing a routine check of campgrounds and came across the vehicle.
The employee reported it to deputies, who ran the plates and matched it to the missing person.
Search teams looked for Rodriguez on Saturday and Sunday before finding his body.
Details on a possible cause of death were not immediately released.
